Swing-ups are as the name suggests; will swing up and out and are made from a single panel. These are the older types of garage doors.
While roll-up garage doors are more expensive compared to tilt-up doors, they are worth the extra expense because they are easier to use and safer. A sectional roll-up door is composed of horizontal sections that are hinged together and mounted with rollers to tracks on either side of the door. This type of door rolls straight up along tracks and is placed under the ceiling or it rolls into a cylinder.
Tip: To protect your opening device from burning out make sure that the garage door is properly balanced.
